BancorpSouth Announces 2020 Share Repurchase Program
December 12, 2019 8:00 AM ESTTUPELO, Miss., Dec. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- BancorpSouth Bank (NYSE: BXS) (BancorpSouth) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized a new share repurchase program to purchase up to an aggregate of 8 million shares of BancorpSouth's common stock. This new share repurchase program will become effective January 2, 2020 and will expire on December 31, 2020. Under the current share repurchase program, BancorpSouth has purchased 2,173,081 shares of the 3 million total shares authorized for repurchase.
