Ellington Financial Inc. Announces Common Stock Offering

OLD GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ellington Financial Inc. (NYSE: EFC) (Ellington Financial or the "Company") announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 4,200,000 shares of common stock. The Company also expects to grant the underwriters an option for 30 days to purchase up to an additional 630,000 shares of common stock. UBS Securities LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, BofA Securities, and Keefe Bruyette & Woods, Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
