Citi Says Brazil Competitors Are Using Local Knowledge to Protect Market Positions from Amazon (AMZN)
September 10, 2019 9:42 AM EDTCitigroup says local competitors in Brazil are using lessons from past mistakes in other markets and local knowledge around tax structures, payment structures, etc, to protect market positions from Amazon's entrance.
The analyst notes AMZN GMV in Brasil is between $R700-800 million against R$18.7 billion for BTOW3.
