Generac Holdings (GNRC) Tops Q2 EPS by 12c, Revenues Beat; Raises FY19 Revenue Growth Outlook
August 1, 2019 6:11 AM UTCGenerac Holdings (NYSE: GNRC) reported Q2 EPS of $1.20, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $1.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $541.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $538.96 million.
Net sales increased 8.9% to $541.9 million during the second quarter of 2019 as compared to $497.6 million in the prior-year second quarter. Core sales growth, which excludes both the impact of acquisitions and foreign currency, was approximately 7%. Residential product sales increased 8.9% to $268.4 million as compared to $246.4 million last year, with core sales growth of approximately 8%.
