SunPower (SPWR) Misses Q2 EPS by 10c, Revenues Beat; Raises FY19 Adj. EBITDA Outlook, Q3 Revenue Guidance Below Consensus, Confirms FY19 Revenue Outlook
July 31, 2019 4:40 PM EDTSunPower (NASDAQ: SPWR) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.22), $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter came in at $481.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $451.64 million.
"In the second quarter, we continued to see the benefits of our corporate transformation as we met or exceeded our financial guidance metrics while positioning the company for significant profitability improvement in the second half of the year," said Tom Werner, SunPower CEO and chairman of the board.
