June 28, 2019 10:35 AM EDTEQT Corporation (NYSE: EQT) today issued the following statement in response to a report issued by Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) in connection with the election of directors to EQTs Board at the Companys 2019 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled for July 10, 2019:
EQT strongly disagrees with ISSs recommendation to vote for the Toby Rice Group nominees. As compared to EQTs purpose-built Board, the Toby Rice Group nominees are significantly less qualified, less experienced and highly conflicted.
