KAR Auction Services, Inc. Reports First Quarter 2019 Financial Results
May 7, 2019 5:23 PM EDTCARMEL, Ind., May 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --Â KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE: KAR), today reported its first quarter financial results for the period ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter of 2019, the company reported revenue of $1,046.8 million as compared with revenue of $950.5 million for the first quarter of 2018, an increase of 10%. Net income for the first quarter of 2019 decreased 14% to $77.8 million, or $0.58 per diluted share, as compared with net income of $90.0 million, or $0.66 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2018.
