Newpark Resources (NR) Misses Q1 EPS by 5c, Revenues Miss
April 25, 2019 4:40 PM EDTNewpark Resources (NYSE: NR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.01, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $211.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $227.2 million.
Paul Howes, Newpark's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Although the market softness and international contract transitions in our Fluids Systems segment had a greater than anticipated impact on first quarter results, we continue to be encouraged by our operational execution.
