AvalonBay Communities, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2019 Operating Results
April 24, 2019 4:16 PM EDTARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AvalonBay Communities, Inc. (NYSE: AVB) (the Company) reported today that Net Income Attributable to Common Stockholders for the three months ended March 31, 2019 was $170,366,000. This resulted in an increase in Earnings per Share diluted (EPS) for the three months ended March 31, 2019 of 19.4% to $1.23 from $1.03 for the prior year period.
Funds from Operations attributable to common stockholders - diluted (FFO) per share for the three months ended March 31, 2019 increased 6.5% to $2.31 from $2.17 for the prior year period.
