WesBanco Announces First Quarter 2019 Net Income
April 16, 2019 4:15 PM EDTWHEELING, W.Va., April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- WesBanco, Inc. ("WesBanco") (Nasdaq: WSBC), a diversified, multi-state bank holding company, today announced net income and related earnings per share for the three months ended March 31, 2019. Net income for the three months ended March 31, 2019 was $40.3 million, with diluted earnings per share of $0.74, compared to $33.5 million and $0.76 per diluted share, respectively, for the first quarter of 2018. Net income excluding after-tax merger-related expenses for the three months ended March 31, 2019, increased 26.9% year-over-year to $42.8 million, or $0.78 per diluted share as compared to $0.76 per diluted share in the prior year...
