Acuity Brands (AYI) Tops Q2 EPS by 18c
April 3, 2019 8:36 AM EDTAcuity Brands (NYSE: AYI) reported Q2 EPS of $1.99, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $1.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $854.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $878.96 million.
Outlook
Mr. Nagel commented, We remain cautiously optimistic for the remainder of fiscal and calendar year 2019 and do not believe that the demand outlook has meaningfully changed from our outlook provided last quarter.
