Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation Announces Third Quarter 2018 Results
November 8, 2018 9:25 AM ESTCARNEGIE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation (NYSE: AP) reported sales for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2018, of $112.2 million and $354.7 million, respectively, compared to $103.9 million and $318.0 million, respectively, for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2017. The increase is principally attributable to the Forged and Cast Engineered Products segment.
Loss from operations for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2018, was $6.7 million and $9.4 million, respectively. This compares to a loss from operations of $3.2 million and $8.0 million, respectively, for the comparable prior year periods.
