AvalonBay Communities, Inc. Announces Third Quarter 2018 Operating Results
October 29, 2018 4:15 PM EDTARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AvalonBay Communities, Inc. (NYSE: AVB) (the Company) reported today that Net Income Attributable to Common Stockholders for the three months ended September 30, 2018 was $192,486,000. This resulted in a decrease in Earnings per Share diluted (EPS) of 19.2% to $1.39 for the three months ended September 30, 2018, from $1.72 for the prior year period.
Funds from Operations attributable to common stockholders - diluted (FFO) per share for the three months ended September 30, 2018 decreased 3.4% to $2.26 from $2.34 for the prior year period.
