Landstar System Reports Record Quarterly Revenue of $1.202 Billion and Record Quarterly Diluted Earnings Per Share of $1.63
October 24, 2018 4:15 PM EDTJACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Landstar System, Inc. (NASDAQ: LSTR) reported record quarterly revenue of $1.202 billion in the 2018 third quarter, a 27 percent increase over revenue of $943 million reported in the 2017 third quarter. Net income of $67.0 million and diluted earnings per share of $1.63 were also quarterly records and increased 58 percent and 61 percent, respectively, over net income and diluted earnings per share in the 2017 third quarter.
