Chubb Reports Third Quarter Net Income Per Share and Core Operating Income Per Share of $2.64 and $2.41, Respectively, Including Catastrophe Losses of $0.80 Per Share; P&C Combined Ratio of 90.9%,
October 23, 2018 4:06 PM EDTZURICH, Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --Â Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) today reported net income for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 of $1,231 million, or $2.64 per share, compared with a net loss of $(70) million, or $(0.15) per share, for the same quarter last year. Core operating income was $1,122 million, or $2.41 per share, compared with a core operating loss of $(60) million, or $(0.13) per share, for the same quarter last year. The property and casualty (P&C) combined ratio was 90.9%.
