JD.com (JD) Misses Q2 EPS by 5c, Revenues Beat
August 16, 2018 6:05 AM EDTJD.com (NASDAQ: JD) reported Q2 EPS of $0.05, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $18.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $17.8 billion.
Net revenues1 for the second quarter of 2018 were RMB122.3 billion (US$218.5 billion), an increase of 31.2% from the second quarter of 2017. Net service revenues for the second quarter of 2018 were RMB11.8 billion (US$1.8 billion), an increase of 51.0% from the second quarter of 2017.
Operating margin of JD Mall before unallocated items3 for the second quarter of 2018 was 1.1%, as compared to 0.8% for the same period last year.... More
