July 31, 2018 7:05 AM EDTSteven Madden (NASDAQ: SHOO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.61, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $395.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $390.57 million.
For the Second Quarter 2018:
Net sales increased 5.8% to $395.8 million compared to $374.1 million in the same period of 2017.Gross margin was 37.3%. Gross margin in the second quarter of 2017 was 37.3%.
