(the Company) (Nasdaq: LECO) today reported second quarter 2018 net income of $68.9 million, or diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.04. This compares with $61.4 million, or $0.92 EPS in the prior year period. Reported EPS includes special item after-tax charges of $11.5 million, or $0.18 EPS. Excluding these items, second quarter 2018 adjusted net income increased 24.0% to $80.4 million, or $1.22...
