Wintrust Financial Corporation Reports Record Second Quarter 2018 Net Income, an Increase of 38% Over Prior Year, and Year-to-Date Net Income of $171.6 million, an Increase of 39% Over Prior Year
July 17, 2018 4:37 PM EDTROSEMONT, Ill., July 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wintrust Financial Corporation (Wintrust or the Company) (Nasdaq: WTFC) announced net income of $89.6 million or $1.53 per diluted common share for the second quarter of 2018 compared to net income of $82.0 million or $1.40 per diluted common share for the first quarter of 2018 and $64.9 million or $1.11 per diluted common share for the second quarter of 2017. The Company recorded net income of $171.6 million or $2.93 per diluted common share for the first six months of 2018 compared to net income of $123.3 million or $2.11 per diluted common share for the same period of 2017.
