A. O. Smith reports double digit earnings growth on record first quarter sales
April 25, 2018 6:55 AM EDTMILWAUKEE, April 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A. O. Smith Corporation (NYSE: AOS) today announced net earnings of $98.8 million or $0.57 per share on record sales of $788.0 million for the first quarter of 2018. Sales were 6.5 percent higher than sales of $740.0 million reported in the same quarter of 2017. Net earnings in 2017 were $87.7 million, or $0.50 per share.
