Grainger Reports Results For The 2018 First Quarter
April 19, 2018 8:00 AM EDTCHICAGO, April 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --Â Grainger (NYSE: GWW) today reported results for the 2018 first quarter ended March 31, 2018. Sales of $2.8 billion increased 9Â percent versus $2.5 billion in the first quarter of 2017. There were 64 selling days in the 2018 first quarter, the same as the 2017 first quarter. Net earnings for the quarter of $232 million were up 32 percent versus $175Â million in 2017. Earnings per share of $4.07 increased 39 percent versus $2.93 in 2017.
