Worthington Reports Second Quarter Fiscal 2018 Results
December 19, 2017 8:25 AM ESTCOLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Worthington Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WOR) today reported net sales of $871.3 million and net earnings of $39.4 million, or $0.62 per diluted share, for its fiscal 2018 second quarter ended November 30, 2017.  Net earnings in the quarter included pre-tax impairment charges of $8.3 million and a net pre-tax restructuring gain of $9.7 million, which combined to increase earnings per diluted share by $0.01. Results for the current quarter also included a charge of $3.6 million within equity income to reflect a new cost-sharing agreement at the Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) joint venture, which required an adjustment for the...
