Hooker Furniture Reports Higher Sales, Income and Increased Dividend
December 7, 2017 8:15 AM ESTMARTINSVILLE, Va., Dec. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hooker Furniture (NASDAQ: HOFT) today reported consolidated net sales of $157.9 million and net income of $7.2 million, or $0.61 per diluted share, for its fiscal 2018 third quarter ended October 29, 2017.
Consolidated net sales increased $12.6 million, or 8.7%, from the comparable prior year quarter. Net income increased $743,000, or 11.5%. Earnings per diluted share increased 8.9% from $0.56 in the comparable prior year quarter.Â
For the fiscal 2018 first nine months, consolidated net sales were $445.1 million, with net income of $19.7 million, or $1.69 per diluted share. Net sales increased $41.8 million, or 10.4%,... More
