November 15, 2017 7:01 AM ESTAstraZeneca (NYSE: AZN) today announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new indication for FASLODEX® (fulvestrant), expanding the indication to include use with abemaciclib, a CDK4/6 inhibitor, for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HER2-) advanced or metastatic breast cancer (MBC) in women with disease progression after endocrine therapy.1
