The Carlyle Group Announces Second Quarter 2017 Financial Results
August 2, 2017 6:30 AM EDTWASHINGTON, Aug. 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group L.P. (NASDAQ: CG) today reported its unaudited results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2017.
Carlyle Co-CEO David M. Rubenstein said, Carlyle produced another strong value creation quarter, with our net accrued carry balance increasing 46% year to date. As a result of the strong performance we have delivered for our fund investors, demand is high for new funds. Â We raised over $8 billion of capital in the second quarter with acceleration likely in the second half of 2017.
