Loews Corporation Reports Net Income Of $231 Million For The Second Quarter Of 2017
July 31, 2017 6:00 AM EDTNEW YORK, July 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --Â Loews Corporation (NYSE: L) today reported net income of $231 million, or $0.69 per share, for the three months ended June 30, 2017, compared to a net loss of $65 million, or $0.19 per share, in the prior year period. Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2017 was $526 million, or $1.56 per share, compared to $37 million, or $0.11 per share, in the prior year period.
