June 6, 2017 11:01 AM EDTGoldman's chief market strategist David Kostin continues to expect the S&P 500 to slide back ~6% and close FY 2017 at 2300. He sees two Americas to invest in, one is outside the Beltway in D.C. and the other is inside the Beltway. He expects returns to be limited as valuations are high along with strength in positive investor sentiment all the while VIX remains low.
Touching on four fundamental metrics he sees:
