Kirkland's Reports First Quarter 2017 Results
May 23, 2017 6:30 AM EDTNASHVILLE, Tenn., May 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --Â Kirkland's, Inc. (NASDAQ: KIRK) today reported financial results for the 13-week period ended April 29, 2017.
Net sales for the 13 weeks ended April 29, 2017 increased 2.3% to $132.8 million compared with $129.9 million for the 13 weeks ended April 30, 2016. Comparable store sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2017, including e-commerce sales, decreased 3.8% compared with an increase of 0.5% in the prior-year quarter.
