Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation Announces First Quarter 2017 Results
May 9, 2017 7:33 AM EDTCARNEGIE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation (NYSE: AP) reported consolidated sales of $103.5 million for the three months ended March 31, 2017, versus $63.6 million for the three months ended March 31, 2016. Compared to prior year, the current quarter includes higher sales of approximately $32.6 million for businesses acquired in 2016.
Loss from operations for the three months ended March 31, 2017, was $2.4 million. This compares to a loss from operations in the prior year quarter of $5.0 million, which included à kers group acquisition-related costs of approximately $1.8 million and purchase accounting impacts of $1.6 million.
