COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- State Auto Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: STFC) today reported a first quarter 2017 net loss of $4.1 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, compared to net income of $3.0 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the same 2016 period.
