April 20, 2017 6:31 AM EDTSnap-On (NYSE: SNA) reported Q1 EPS of $2.39, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $2.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $887.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $879.02 million.
Net sales of $887.1 million increased $52.9 million, or 6.3%, from 2016 levels, reflecting a $33.4 million, or 4.1%, organic sales gain and $29.1 million of acquisition-related sales, partially offset by $9.6 million of unfavorable foreign currency translation.
