U.S. Bancorp Reports First Quarter 2017 Earnings

Returned 78 percent of earnings to shareholders
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) today reported net income of $1,473 million for the first quarter of 2017, or $0.82 per diluted common share, compared with $1,386 million, or $0.76 per diluted common share, in the first quarter of 2016.
