April 18, 2017 5:00 PM EDTGULFPORT, Miss., April 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hancock Holding Company (Nasdaq: HBHC) today announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2017. Net income for the first quarter of 2017 was $49.0 million, or $.57 per diluted common share (EPS), compared to $51.8 million, or $.64 EPS in the fourth quarter of 2016 and $3.8 million, or $.05 EPS, in the first quarter of 2016.
