Salesforce.com forecasts lower-than-expected Q1 profit; shares fall

(Reuters) - Salesforce.com Inc (NYSE: CRM) raised its revenue forecast for its full fiscal year to slightly above analysts expectations but lowered its outlook for its next quarter to a lower-than-expected profit, sending its shares down 2 percent in extended trading on Tuesday.

The company said it expects first-quarter adjusted profit of 25 cents to 26 cents per share. Analysts were expecting a profit of 30 cents per share, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
