NOW Inc. Announces Fourth Quarter and Full-Year 2016 Results
February 15, 2017 6:45 AM ESTHOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NOW Inc. (NYSE: DNOW) reported for its fourth quarter ended December 31, 2016 a net loss of $71 million, or $0.66 per fully diluted share, compared to a net loss of $249 million, or $2.33 per fully diluted share in the same period of 2015. Net loss excluding other costs, a non-GAAP measure, was $31 million or $0.29 per fully diluted share. Other costs in the fourth quarter of 2016 included pre-tax charges of $2 million for severance and acquisition-related costs and an after-tax charge of $39 million for a valuation allowance recorded against the Companys deferred tax assets.
