First Capital, Inc. Reports Third Quarter Earnings Increase
October 28, 2016 8:50 AM EDTCORYDON, Ind., Oct. 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Capital, Inc. (the Company) (NASDAQ: FCAP), the holding company for First Harrison Bank (the Bank), today reported net income of $1.8 million or $0.53 per diluted share for the quarter ended September 30, 2016, compared to $1.4 million or $0.51 per diluted share for the same period in 2015. The increase in net income is primarily due to increases in net interest income after provision for loan losses and noninterest income partially offset by an increase in noninterest expenses.
