T. Rowe Price Group Reports Third Quarter 2016 Results

(NASDAQ-GS: TROW) today reported its third quarter of 2016 results, including net revenues of $1.1 billion, net income of $327.8 million, and diluted earnings per common share of $1.28. The third quarter of 2016 results include greater non-operating income resulting from implementing new accounting guidance on January 1, 2016, related to the consolidation of certain sponsored investment portfolios. This resulted in the recognition of additional investment gains and losses in the firm's statement of income.
