General Dynamics Reports Second-Quarter 2016 Results

Record-setting operating performance: Operating margin of 14%, a 30 basis-point improvement Diluted earnings per share of $2.44, up 7.5% Return on sales of 9.9% Seventh consecutive quarter with operating earnings of more than one billion dollars EPS guidance increased from $9.20 to $9.70General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) today reported second-quarter 2016 diluted earnings per share of $2.44 compared to $2.27 in the year-ago quarter, a 7.5 percent increase. Net earnings were $758 million, on revenue of $7.7 billion.
