Second Quarter GAAP Earnings Per Share Were $2.19; Adjusted Earnings Per Share Were $0.46
DEERFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Baxter International Inc. (NYSE: BAX) today reported results for the second quarter of 2016, and increased its sales and earnings per share outlook for full-year 2016. Baxters second quarter worldwide sales totaled $2.6 billion, an increase of 4 percent on a reported basis and 6 percent on a constant currency basis as compared to the prior-year period.
