Verizon (VZ) Enters Agreement to Acquire Yahoo's (YHOO) Operating Business in $4.8B Deal
July 25, 2016 7:01 AM EDTVerizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) and Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) announce they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Verizon will acquire Yahoo's operating business for approximately $4.83 billion in cash, subject to customary closing adjustments.
