BancorpSouth Announces Second Quarter 2016 Financial Results
July 20, 2016 4:30 PM EDTTUPELO, Miss., July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BancorpSouth, Inc. (NYSE: BXS) today announced financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
Highlights for the second quarter of 2016 included:
Net income of $34.7 million, or $0.37 per diluted share. Generated net loan growth of $131.3 million, or 5.1 percent on an annualized basis. Reached a settlement with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the U.S. Department of Justice of their joint investigation of the Company's fair lending practices.
