Kirkland's Reports First Quarter 2016 Results
May 24, 2016 6:30 AM EDTNASHVILLE, Tenn., May 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kirkland's, Inc. (NASDAQ: KIRK) today reported financial results for the 13 weeks ended April 30, 2016.
Net sales for the 13 weeks ended April 30, 2016 increased 9.8% to $129.9 million compared with $118.3 million for the 13 weeks ended May 2, 2015. Comparable store sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2016, including e-commerce sales, increased 0.5% compared with an increase of 3.0% in the prior-year quarter. Kirkland's opened 14 stores...
