Aimco Reports First Quarter Results, Raises 2016 Guidance
April 28, 2016 4:17 PM EDTDENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Apartment Investment and Management Company (Aimco) (NYSE: AIV) announced today results for first quarter 2016.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Terry Considine comments: Aimco enjoyed a solid first quarter. Operating results were ahead of guidance with accelerating revenue growth and good cost control. New and renewal lease rates increased at a greater rate in first quarter 2016 than they did in first quarter 2015. Portfolio quality improved with average monthly revenue per apartment home now exceeding $1,860.
