Questar Reports First-Quarter 2016 Adjusted Earnings of $87.5 Million, $0.50 Per Adjusted Diluted Share

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Questar Corporation (NYSE: STR) reported first-quarter 2016 net income of $78.5 million, or $0.45 per diluted share. This included $9.0 million of after tax merger-related charges. Excluding these charges, adjusted earnings were $87.5 million, or $0.50 per adjusted diluted share, compared to first-quarter 2015 net income of $84.6 million, or $0.48 per diluted share. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Adjusted EBITDA) for the quarter were $208.1 million compared to $203.6 million in the year-ago period.
