Waste Connections Reports First Quarter 2016 Results
April 27, 2016 4:06 PM EDTTHE WOODLANDS, Texas, April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Waste Connections, Inc. (NYSE: WCN) today announced its results for the first quarter of 2016. Revenue totaled $514.7 million, up from $506.1 million in the year ago period. Operating income was $91.0 million compared to $101.9 million in the first quarter of 2015. Adjusted EBITDA* in the first quarter of 2016 was $169.7 million, or 33.0% of revenue, compared to $168.3 million in the prior year period. Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, excludes the impact of items such as acquisition-related costs, as shown in the detailed reconciliation in the attached...
