Dr Pepper Snapple Group Reports First Quarter 2016 Results
April 27, 2016 8:01 AM EDTPLANO, Texas, April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (NYSE: DPS) reported first quarter 2016 EPS of $0.96 compared to $0.81 in the prior year period. Core EPS were $0.94, up 16%, compared to $0.81 in the prior year period.
For the quarter, reported net sales increased 2% on favorable product and package mix of 3%, price increases of 1% and a 1% increase in sales volumes. These increases were partially offset by 2 percentage points of unfavorable foreign currency translation.
