LOUIS, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) today announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016. On March 24, 2016, Centene acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Health Net, Inc. (Health Net). Our consolidated financial statements as of and for the three months ended March 31, 2016 reflect eight days of Health Net operations. The following discussions, with the exception of cash flow information, are in the context of continuing operations.
