Regions Reports Earnings of $257 Million and Earnings Per Share of $0.20 for the First Quarter of 2016
April 15, 2016 6:00 AM EDTBIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE: RF) today announced earnings for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016. The company reported net income available to common shareholders of $257 million, an increase of 18 percent compared to the first quarter of 2015. Earnings per diluted share was $0.20, an increase of $0.04 from the first quarter of 2015.
