Spanish energy company Abengoa is near an agreement to sell its remaining 42% stake in Atlantica Yield (Nasdaq: ABY), the U.S.-traded yieldco formerly known as Abengoa Yield, according to a source claiming to have knowledge of Abengoas plans.

On January 7, Abengoa Yield changed its name to Atlantica Yield in an attempt to further distance itself from debt-burdened Abengoa.
