American Express Reaffirms 2016-2017 Financial Outlook
March 10, 2016 4:30 PM ESTNEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- American Express (NYSE: AXP) today reaffirmed the companys financial outlook for 2016 and 2017.
In remarks prepared for the companys annual Investor Day today, Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey C. Campbell said, For the full year, our 2016 and 2017 EPS outlook remains unchanged from what we told you on our fourth quarter earnings call. We continue to expect EPS in the range of $5.40 to $5.70 for 2016 and to be at least $5.60 for 2017. As you will recall, this outlook does not contemplate the impact of any restructuring charges or other contingencies.
